Ashley Branch Solegatti is the younger sibling of Blake Solegatti. They are the only other Non-Binary Sole-Wielder, besides Ravi, the leader of Sunshire, and go by They/them/she/her pronouns.

They grew up in Sunshire, a secret civilization, still living the ancient ways in the year 1986 CE (current era). They never knew of the outside world, except from their father, Nikolai's accounts of it, as he is a 'commonfolk' man who lived his life in Selene Valley before he met their mother, Eleanora, and came to Sunshire to live out the rest of his days.

Ashley was happy in Sunshire and only saw the positive side of things. Blake, however, didn't see things the way they did. On the night of a solstice fire, Ashley reluctantly fled Sunshire with Blake, embarking on the mysterious outside world beyond the walls.

They seek refuge in Nikolai's abandoned mansion only to find it occupied by other Sortileges, spurring a conflict between them all, but Ashley, unlike Blake, views them as potential new friends and wants to connect with them. They connect with Madelyn and Juniper, but Nari's cold walls keep them out.

Although inexperienced, Ashley longs for a taste of life outside of Sunshire and meeting new people to share new experiences with them. Ashley was taught from a young age to help those in need and always do for others, but sometimes this can be a detriment to their own well-being.

Ashley has a bright, sunny disposition and is often cheerful to the point of burying their sadness and ignoring their problems in favor of always being happy. They have recurring nightmares that bring them dread, and they refuse to discuss them.

However, this bubbles to the surface when their brother, Blake, tries to control them and shield them from the world; it is their naivete that lands them in trouble with specific individuals.
