Hellbent is my indie project with my original characters! It's set in 1986 in an alternate version of our world. It's a drama, comedy, slice-of-life series about a fish-out-of-water with big dreams to run a Cat Cafe surrounded by aspiring rockstars. It centers around their interpersonal dramas and relationships. Finding themselves, failing, and achieving their goals. Hellbent is written in a script-novel format and can be read HERE! Someday I would like to make comics, too.

Adjective: Hellbent Definition: Determined to achieve something at any cost. That is the core theme among the characters in the story. It is also the name of the Heavy Metal night club they frequent.

No. They're not the same story, they just utilize some of the same characters. I guess it's kind of like an alternate universe take on the same characters from different writers. Hellbent is my story, created and written by me. It is a slice-of-life story focused on aspiring rockstars, relationship dramas, a mysterious cult, and a Cat Café. It has a more light-hearted and down-to-earth tone. It is set in an alternative version of our world in Australia. Some of his characters from Verdant Hawk play a role in my story and he co-writes some of their parts. Verdant Hawk is my partner's story created and written by him. It is a darker story with sci-fi elements, revolving around people with special abilities and their relationship dramas. It is set on a fictional planet called Reona and takes place in a fictional USA. Some of my characters from Hellbent play a role in his story and I co-write some of their parts.

A looooooong time. Technically 20 years. I've had some of these characters for that long and they grew and changed over the years to become what they are now. I've been through various reboots and rewrites until I got it right. I've learnt a lot about art and writing through this project. My partner has also helped me along the way!

Yes, I do looping GIF animations like this: The animation is an additional cost on top of the price of the character(s), background, e.t.c. The price to add animation varies depending on the complexity of the movement and can range from $15-200+ on top of the illustration cost. I get asked about tickling animations the most, so: TL;DR: Tickling animations start from $200 shaded or $150 flat color for ONE character. Backgrounds, additional characters, and complex details will cost extra. I also offer more affordable tickling YCH animations HERE!

Yes, if there is a piece I did for you or a piece featuring my characters you would like animated, I can certainly do that for a fraction of the price of a new piece. * I will NOT animate other artists' works or commissions I did for others without their permission.

Yes. Prices start at $280 for a fully colored page with 3-4 frames, depending on details and complexities! Each frame is drawn differently from scratch. However, frames that only require small changes to the same image appearing more than once will decrease the cost. In which case, see the next tab for more information!

Yes, prices are $5-20 per alt edit on top of the initial cost of the commission. Dialogue is free. I can also compile these pieces into a comic/image series if requested. It would be the more affordable alternative to a comic commission as each frame wouldn't need to be drawn differently from scratch.

Full completion can take 2-6 weeks, depending on complexity and queue. Animations will take the longest. If you need the commission completed sooner, an additional 25% rush fee will apply. Please note, I will only accept if I feel I can realistically meet your deadline. Please don't rush me. I don't mind being asked for progress, so long as it's not frequently and/or too soon. I will notifiy you of the progress or: You can check the progress of your commission here: ✯Commission Status!✯

A complex design fee of $20+ on top of the piece may incur if your character has the following details: Several items of jewellery and/or complex detailed jewellery. Intricate hairstyles. Wings. Armor and/or detailed outfit/clothing items. Complex character design example: General rule of thumb: If the design is more detailed than my own designs, then it most likely falls under the complex design catergory!

I have the right to host/not host/remove any art on my public accounts and I may do the following: Post your commission crediting your name. Post your commission creditng you as "anonymous" if requested. Not post the commission if privacy requested, or for my own reasons. Remove the commission from my gallery. If I don't post your commission or remove it, that does not entitle you to a refund. I always send the high-res file when the work is complete for your own use. If you wish to host it in your own gallery, you can but please give proper credit to Helladelic/Helladelicacy.

You may post it anywhere you like, use it as an icon, wallpaper, e.t.c, as long as credit is given to Helladelic/Helladelicacy. You may also print it out, hang it on your wall, print it on a T-shirt, e.t.c, so long as it's for personal use only! Do not produce for profit or mint as an NFT or use in an AI! I retain the rights to my work. If you wish to use the art as a logo or T-shirt design for profit, please let me know and we can arrange something.

All sales are final. I do not issue refunds. Unless I cannot complete the work for any reason, you will be fully refunded.

Please don't ask questions like this or complain about an artist's price. If the price is out of your budget, move on or come back again later when you can afford it. I am creating a custom work tailored to what you want. It's one-of-a-kind and not manufactured. You can't get it elsewhere. I spend hours working hard on it and have spent years crafting my skill. I also have a disability to contend with, bills to pay, cats to feed, and my own projects, so it needs to be worth my time and energy, and not lead to burnout. Please do not try to haggle me. I don't care what other artists charge. These are my commissions, and I will determine my rates how I want to. The cheapest clients are always the most expensive ones, and I don't want to work with people who don't value my time and skill. I can't afford it.
